Growers, Sellers, and Hybridizers of fine orchids for more than twenty years.
We specialize in species, miniatures, and hard to find orchids
Visit our greenhouse, (by appointment), or see us at one of the many Orchid Shows. Learn how to become a better orchid grower, and perhaps, buy an orchid plant.
Epidendrum neolehmanniana 'Windswept's Green Gnome' CCM/AOS This plant was given a Certificate of Cultural Merit by the Cincinnati Judging Center
This is a close-up of the Tuberolabium quisimbingii flower. I thought the lip of the flower looked a little like a smiley face. In hindsight, the close up looks a little demonic, not so happy
This is a picture of my Tuberolabium quisumbingii 'Windswept's Happy Face' CCM/AOS. The plant has three inflorescence with over a hundred flowers, each about a half inch across. The plant blooms every fall, and carries a wonderful fragrance. A thank you goes out to Dave Miller who took the plant to judging at the Great Lakes Judging Center.
This is our first exhibit of the 2020 show season. The show was at Grand Valley Orchid Society. The beautiful picture was taken by Mike Rizzo of Glass Box Tropicals. The exhibit won the trophy ribbon for best open exhibit.

We specialize in miniature orchids of many different genera. We are currently hybridizing Tolumnia Habenaria, and lots of the smaller growing species.
Twice a year we invite orchid lovers to visit the greenhouse, and see what is new. Traditionally, the dates are the Sat. & Sun. of Memorial Day Weekend, and the first weekend in November. The house is off limits due to Covid, so there will not be bathroom facilities, sorry.
We are known for our outstanding orchid exhibits at the shows. The shows consist of exhibits, and sales areas. We invite you to join us at a show near you. You can ask us questions about your orchid plants, buy orchid plants, and become a better orchid grower.
Currently,
There are quite a few Vanda orchids in flower and bud. The occasional Paphiopedilum, Oncidium, Cattleya, and Phragmipedium. There are still a few Habenaria, and a few dozen Tolumnia.
Pictured is Tacca integrifolia--not an orchid but really cool!
While we specialize in growing Orchids, we also sell some orchid supplies. When you visit our greenhouse, be sure to bring your shopping list of needed orchid supplies. If you need large quantities of something I can point you in the right direction.
